Chris Williams
Founder, Cactoblend
Chris Williams is a Certified Food Scientist with 15+ years industry experience.
Chris first learned of Food Science as a course of study and career path while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering. Visions of Twinkies floating down long conveyor belts filled his head—that’s all it took, he was sold.
While never actually getting the opportunity to work the ‘ol Twinkie line (still waiting for that callback, Hostess!), Chris has worked in food safety and quality management in bakery, dairy, and ingredient sectors, product development in the beverage realm, and commercialization support (AKA making sure the manufacturing is right!) for multiple product categories.
His bread and butter (if you will) is beverage formulation and development but he enjoys helping customers of all product types find the solution they need. If he can’t do it personally, he will find you someone who can.
Chris lives in the Houston, Texas area with his family. He is happiest when developing delicious products for customers and seeing their excitement as their visions become reality.
